This project investigates the formation and behavior of complex micelle structures created from diblock copolymers, focusing on those with crystalline cores. The research aims to deepen understanding of polymer crystallization, which could inform future applications in materials science and nanotechnology.
A series of complex, hierarchical micelle architectures such as block co-micelles have recently been prepared from crystalline-b-amorphous diblock copolymers using living, crystallization-driven polymerizations in solution.
In this proposal the fundamental issues behind this novel process will be investigated.
