This project investigates the development of advanced ceramics with improved damage tolerance by utilizing innovative multilayer designs. The goal is to enhance the reliability and functionality of ceramic components used in various applications, including electronics and medical implants.
Advanced ceramics are often combined with metals, polymers or other ceramics to produce structural and functional systems with exceptional properties.
