This project investigates the decision-making processes of parents with congenitally deaf children in Iceland. It aims to refine a model for understanding care-related choices and assess the implementation of early intervention services based on qualitative interviews with parents.
ObjectiveThe researcher's specific expertise in the sociological approach of disability issues will be placed within the larger framework of Disability Studies.
