This project explores cognitive control training to improve self-regulation and reduce impulsive behaviors such as overeating and excessive drinking. It aims to identify effective training methods and understand their impact on brain structure and function.
Cognitive control regulates our thoughts and actions, helping us avoid impulsive behaviours that are inappropriate, costly or dangerous.
