CAVIPHY develops a device that uses cavitation to enhance the treatment of waste activated sludge from wastewater treatment plants. By improving the breakdown and processing of this sludge, the project aims to reduce costs and environmental impact while generating renewable bioenergy from methane.
One of the most pressing global problems is the increasing pollution of surface and groundwater, which threatens the world's clean water supply and public health.
