CascEff aims to enhance understanding of cascading effects in crises, improving decision-making for emergency services. It develops an Incident Evolution Tool to identify key factors and support incident commanders in managing complex situations, ultimately reducing collateral damage during emergencies.
Escalating incidents in complex environments can lead to severe cascading effects and quickly become extremely difficult for emergency services to handle.
