This project aims to enhance the understanding and treatment of coronary heart disease by identifying genetic factors and novel biomarkers. It combines genomic, proteomic, and metabolomic approaches to uncover new drug targets and improve risk prediction for patients.
There is a large need for revitalization of the research on coronary heart disease (CHD) including: a) improved risk prediction and more adequate individually-tailored treatment; and b) new targets for drug development based on pathways
