This project aims to develop advanced cardiac organoid models that mimic human heart development and function. By integrating various biological and technological approaches, it seeks to improve disease modeling and drug discovery for cardiovascular diseases, ultimately leading to better therapeutic options.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading global cause of death.
Yet, breakthroughs in cardiac therapies are limited due to the poor predictive power of current models.
