CardioFunXion aims to improve the assessment of cardiac function by integrating image-based measurements with physiological knowledge and clinical guidelines. The project focuses on developing validated tools that enhance the reproducibility and interpretation of cardiac assessments in clinical settings.
Cardiovascular diseases have been defined as a top priority within H2020.
Although diagnostic approaches and therapies have drastically improved over the last decennia, effective, validated and auditable tools for the integrated assessment of cardiac function in clinical practice have yet to be developed.
