This project focuses on identifying and characterizing mutations in non-protein-coding regions of DNA that may contribute to cancer. By analyzing whole genome sequencing data, it aims to discover new cancer driver mutations that could lead to improved diagnosis and treatment options.
There is an urgent need to improve approaches for cancer diagnosis and targeted treatment, which requires a detailed understanding of the disease and its genetic basis.
