This project aims to develop a highly sensitive platform for detecting Human Papillomavirus (HPV), the primary cause of cervical cancer. Utilizing a laser-textured biopolymer and advanced nanoparticles, the platform seeks to improve the speed and accuracy of HPV detection.
About 10% of all cancers diagnosed in women worldwide, are cancers of the cervix, the organ that connects the uterus and the vagina.
