This project explores the mechanisms that prevent effective immunotherapy in cancers associated with human papillomavirus. By investigating the barriers to immune response, the research aims to develop strategies that enhance the efficacy of cancer treatments.
The frontier in cancer therapy of orchestrating the immune system to attack tumors is producing unprecedented survival benefit in some patients.
