This project investigates submarine canyons to understand their formation and evolution. By analyzing bathymetric data and integrating various geological datasets, the research aims to clarify the processes that shape these underwater features and their role in sediment and nutrient transport.

They are major geomorphological features that dissect most of the world's ocean margins.
