This research focuses on the role of Marine Crenarchaeota in oceanic nitrification processes, particularly in deep waters where ammonia is scarce. It aims to assess the contribution of these microorganisms to nitrogen cycling and carbon fixation in the ocean's depths using advanced genetic techniques.
