This project addresses air pollution from factories by developing the C-Air system, which purifies toxic air and enriches it with oxygen. The goal is to protect workers' health and improve air quality in urban areas affected by industrial emissions.
Over time, cities have grown rapidly and are now located close to factories.
This has put the lives of families and individuals at risk as factories pollute and release toxic gases that may spread into the environment.
The lives of workers employed at these factories is also at risk.
As of 2017, air pollution has been directly linked to over 500,000 premature deaths in Europe3.
