This project focuses on developing a connected strap for traditional watches to promote physical activity among the elderly. By integrating advanced wearable technology into familiar designs, it aims to enhance health monitoring and encourage a more active lifestyle in older adults.
Over the next several years Europe will be witnessing a large change in the age pyramid due to the growing number of the elderly in the total population (today 19.2% with 2.4 % increase compared with 10 years earlier).
