The BrightEyes project develops a novel single-molecule detection technique to observe biomolecules in living cells. This approach enables real-time tracking and analysis of biomolecular dynamics and interactions within their natural environments, overcoming limitations of current methods.
Fluorescence single-molecule (SM) detection techniques have the potential to provide insights into the complex functions, structures and interactions of individual, specifically labelled biomolecules.
