The Night of the Brains event aims to engage the public with researchers and their work on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI). Through interactive activities, attendees will learn about how brain activity can be detected and influenced, showcasing applications like thought-operated games and mental health treatments.
The Night of the Brains will be organized on September 24 2010 at LUX Theatre Nijmegen.Aimed at enhancing public recognition of researchers and their work, the activities will be dedicated to a specific theme: "Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI)".The programme, based on a combination of researcher-science linked and recreational activities, addresses the public at large regardless of age or scientific background.
