Bootstrap is a project aimed at reducing the negative impact of excessive digital technology use on adolescents' mental health. It develops a digital platform for screening at-risk individuals and tests tailored self-management interventions to promote healthier internet usage and improve mental well-being.
BACKGROUND:Adolescents are at particularly high risk for digital technology overuse, including in response to the COVID pandemic, and are therefore vulnerable for its potential harmful effects on mental health.
