The Blinkers project focuses on enhancing cyclist safety through a comprehensive system of lights and sensors that improve visibility and predictability in urban traffic. This innovative solution aims to reduce accidents and fatalities among cyclists, particularly at high-risk intersections.
The usage of the bicycle is increasing worldwide, especially in urban areas.
Indeed, the bicycle is already the most used mean of transportation for more than 40 million EU citizens .
