This project focuses on developing a serum-based assay kit, DiviTum™, to detect Thymidine Kinase activity, a biomarker for cancer treatment. It aims to improve patient treatment selection and clinical trial success rates for drugs targeting cell cycle regulation, particularly Cyclin Dependent Kinase inhibitors.
The traditionally practiced approach to cancer therapy and development of new cancer drugs is to treat a large pool of patients as potential responders.
