BioTisSeal focuses on creating advanced tissue sealants that enhance wound healing by combining bioactive properties with tunable elasticity. The project aims to develop off-the-shelf hydrogel sealants that not only close wounds but also promote tissue regeneration through controlled release of growth factors.
Wound management is a routine part of medical practices worldwide, and delays in healing cause a significant clinical and economic burden.
