BiotaTec's BiotaMet project develops an innovative two-step bio-leaching process for efficient metal extraction from low-grade ores and electronic waste. By utilizing specially adapted microorganisms, the method minimizes environmental impact while maximizing metal recovery and generating energy in the form of methane.
