The BiOprobe project aims to create advanced implantable probes that can both record brain activity and deliver drugs. By leveraging organic electronic materials, these devices will enhance our ability to study and interact with neural networks, potentially improving treatments for neurological disorders.
Reducing the burden of neurological disorders (e.g. epilepsy and Alzheimer’s) has become a top research priority.
