This project explores the use of modified mesenchymal stem cells to deliver magnetic nanoparticles for treating lung cancer. The approach aims to selectively destroy tumor cells while preserving healthy tissue, leveraging the unique properties of stem cells to target cancerous areas effectively.
Lung cancer is the most lethal cancer in the world today.
There are limited options for clinicians when treating patients, with only 10-15% of lung cancer patients surviving their malignancy.
