This project aims to develop advanced biomimetic scaffold materials for periodontal tissue regeneration. It focuses on creating a bilayered composite scaffold that mimics the structure of periodontal tissues to promote the growth and differentiation of dental stem cells into functional tissues.
Current data concerning the use of scaffolds in Periodontal Tissue Regeneration are far from sufficient for successful tissue-engineering therapeutics in the periodontology field.
