This project develops 3D-printed titanium implants with bioactive materials to enhance bone regeneration after tumor resection. By optimizing implant design and testing for biocompatibility, the project aims to improve recovery outcomes for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries for bone cancer.
Osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma are the most common types of cancer in patients younger than 30 years.
