Summary

This project aims to facilitate Europe's transition to a bio-based economy by developing key bio-based chemical building blocks. It focuses on generating evidence and design parameters necessary for the industrial production of 1,4 butanediol and itaconic acid, addressing economic and sustainability challenges.
