The project focuses on developing a new vaccine for brucellosis, a widespread zoonotic disease affecting livestock and humans. The innovative vaccine aims for mass vaccination of animals, addressing current limitations in existing vaccines and enhancing disease control efforts.
Brucellosis is consistently ranked as the world’s most common and widespread zoonotic disease, meaning that it normally exists in animals but it can also infect humans.
