This project focuses on designing and building a new type of cylindrical gas electron multiplier detector for particle physics experiments. The detector aims to improve tracking performance and data collection in high-radiation environments.
Inner Trackers (IT) are key detectors in Particle Physics experiments; excellent spatial resolution, radiation transparency and hardness, and operability under high occupancies are main requirements.
