BEETHOVEN aims to develop alternative magnetic materials to reduce reliance on rare-earth elements in energy applications. The project focuses on creating new magnetic phases for use in automotive components and renewable energy technologies.
Modern technologies required for the transition to a climate-resilient sustainable green and digital future (wind generators, electric motors) heavily rely on rare-earth (REE) permanent magnets.
