The BEAt-DKD project focuses on understanding diabetic kidney disease to identify new biomarkers and treatment strategies. By leveraging advanced research techniques and large clinical cohorts, it aims to improve patient outcomes through precision medicine.
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is the leading cause of end stage renal disease (ESRD), and its global incidence and prevalence have reached epidemic dimensions in recent years.
