BEACON aims to enhance the understanding of gravity and space-time through a multi-disciplinary approach involving optical and radio astronomy. The project seeks to detect new gravitational phenomena predicted by superstring theory, significantly improving the sensitivity of pulsar timing experiments.
BEACON aims at performing an ambitious multi-disciplinary (optical, radio astronomy and theoretical physics) study to enable a fundamentally improved understanding of gravitation and space-time.
