This project aims to enhance decision-making in critical risk assessments where data is scarce. It employs Bayesian networks to integrate expert knowledge and subjective probabilities, allowing for better modeling of complex situations in fields like law, medicine, and engineering.

What makes it radical is that it plans to do this in situations (common for critical risk assessment problems) where there is little or even no data, and hence where traditional statistics cannot be used.
