BATCure aims to develop new therapies for rare genetic disorders known as neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses, or Batten disease. The project focuses on creating models and identifying treatments for three specific types of this disease, which severely affect children, leading to progressive decline and early death.
The goal of BATCure is to advance the development of new therapeutic options for a group of rare lysosomal diseases - neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses (NCL) or Batten disease.
