This project investigates the anaerobic biodegradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in various aquatic environments. Utilizing stable isotope techniques, it seeks to identify key microorganisms involved in the degradation process to enhance remediation strategies for hydrocarbon pollution.
