This project investigates how B cell specificity and immunodominance influence the immune response to influenza A virus. By using mutant viruses and advanced immunological techniques, it aims to enhance understanding of B cell behavior and improve vaccination strategies against viral infections.
This proposal aims at understanding how B cell specificity and immunodominance shape primary and secondary humoral responses to influenza A virus.
Influenza A virus is a relevant human pathogen causing a considerable yearly death toll and economic burden to society.
