AviCeD investigates the immune responses of different animal species to zoonotic infections, focusing on how these responses affect inflammation. The project aims to identify key proteins involved in cell death pathways triggered by pathogens like Salmonella and Influenza.
Zoonotic infections, particularly with viruses or bacteria, continue to be important threats to humans globally.
