This project examines how globalization impacts authoritarian regimes. It investigates the effects of information flow, social movements, and migration on the stability of authoritarian rule, aiming to understand the evolving nature of governance in a globalized context.
The overarching research question of this project is: how is authoritarian rule affected by and responding to globalisation of (a) information and communication, (b) association, and (c) people movement?
