The ATTRACT network aims to advance adoptive cell therapy for cancer treatment by training researchers in this interdisciplinary field. It seeks to enhance collaboration between research and industry to develop essential skills for future leaders in cancer therapy.
Considerable resources are devoted to fighting cancer throughout Europe, yet these efforts are not producing the results that health practitioners and citizens might expect.
This is partly due to the fragmentation and duplication of research efforts within Member states and the lack of co-ordination at European level.
