This project aims to uncover the mechanisms of attention in the brain by studying the role of different types of interneurons in visual processing. It combines genetic targeting and advanced imaging techniques to explore how these neurons influence attention and behavior.
At every moment in time, the brain receives a vast amount of sensory information about the environment.
