ATRONICS focuses on the innovative use of ferroelectric domain walls in oxide materials to create new electronic devices. By treating these walls as functional components, the project aims to develop advanced circuitry at the atomic scale, enhancing the capabilities of future electronics.
Interfaces in oxide materials offer amazing opportunities for fundamental and applied research, giving a new dimension to functional properties, such as magnetism, multiferroicity and superconductivity.
