This project focuses on measuring the properties of the Higgs boson, a fundamental particle discovered at the Large Hadron Collider. Researchers will develop new methods to analyze its interactions with other particles, particularly through specific decay processes involving tau leptons.
In July 2012 the discovery was announced of a new bosonobserved at the Large Hadron Collider.
The proponents of this project are uniquely placed, by their previous research, to measure key aspects of this new particle's couplings to other particles through a suite of measurements.
