The ASTONISH project develops innovative surveillance solutions to enhance safety and capacity in European aviation. It focuses on ground-based and aircraft-based systems to improve traffic management and operational efficiency in increasingly crowded airspaces.
With aviation traffic reaching unprecedent levels, surveillance is a critical service for ensuring operations safety and for improving airspace and airport capacity to accommodate the increasing traffic forecast.
