The Extreme Data project focuses on developing methodologies and software for analyzing massive data sets in real-time using Exascale computing systems. It aims to enhance data-intensive applications by creating new programming paradigms and tools for efficient data processing.
Extreme Data is an incarnation of Big Data concept distinguished by the massive amounts of data that must be queried, communicated and analyzed in (near) real-time by using a very large number of memory/storage elements and Exascale computing systems.
