ASINA aims to enhance the safety of nano-enabled products by applying a data-driven design methodology tailored for coatings and cosmetics. It focuses on integrating safety-by-design principles into manufacturing processes to build stakeholder confidence in these products.
Although previous EU funded projects have defined tools and concepts to ensure safety of nano-enabled products through design, many hurdles still hinder the implementation of these procedures in real production processes.
