The project focuses on developing Artificial T cells (ArTCells) that mimic the function of natural T cells to target and kill tumor cells. This innovative approach aims to provide a safer and more effective alternative to existing T cell therapies for cancer treatment.
T cells play a central role in anti-tumor immune protection.
While their ability to target and eliminate emerging tumor cells is increasingly recognized, fully-established tumors can efficiently evade T cell response.
