ARISE investigates the dietary habits of prehistoric populations in Southern Europe to understand the transition to farming. By applying advanced analytical techniques to archaeological remains, the project aims to clarify the origins and spread of agricultural practices in the region.
ARISE will provide a detailed survey of the dietary status of Southern Europe’s prehistoric inhabitants in order to examine key issues relating to the transition to farming in this region.
