ArcticLabourTime examines the precarious nature of labor in the Arctic, focusing on how governments and employers manage seasonal labor markets through mobility and multilingualism. The project highlights the inequalities faced by workers in this context.
The precaritization of labour and life has led some scholars to argue that there is no longer a utopian future to work towards.
