The ARAMIS project investigates how freshwater microbial communities evolve in response to environmental changes. By studying over 200 lake samples, it aims to understand the mechanisms of microbial diversification and its implications for ecosystem stability and management.
Adaptive Radiation of Aquatic MIcrobial Species (ARAMIS).The action aims to understand the causes, mechanisms and consequences of adaptive radiation (i.e. the process in which organisms diversify rapidly to occupy ecological niches) in freshwater microbial communities.
